DJ
Jacques
This L.A. native discovered his passion for spinning
records in 1992, when he bought his first turntables and
mixer set-up. Soon after, Jacques began promoting and
DJing with Destructo, the pioneering creator of “Hard”,
were they headed the scene of LA’s underground
warehouse parties and after-hours clubs.
In the mid 90’s, his career took a turn when he was
signed to Moonshine Records. He has since worked
with some of the biggest names in the business
including Mark Ronson, A-Trak, AM and Z-Trio. In the
summer of ’95 he began opening for DJ AM, followed
by a run with DJ Vice in local Hollywood clubs. He soon
caught the eyes of many of the hottest bar managers
and club promoters in the Southern California music
scene, securing a long line of residences at hot spots
like The Wynn in Las Vegas, Hustler in Los Angeles and the legendary Malibu Inn.
When he is not tearing up a night club dance floor, he is rocking the corporate world DJing for megabrands like Red Bull, General Motors, Mercedes Benz, Target, Nike, DC, Quicksilver and Cadillac. He has also performed with artists like 50 Cent, Kid Rock, The Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, Run DMC, and Mary J Blige. If you think that isn’t enough to keep him busy, he also works with extreme sporting events like the X-Games, Street League Tour and Nascar. Not to mention regular appearances at clubs, corporate events, fashion shows, and record release parties.
